The screams are always a little unsettling, but they're becoming increasingly less troublesome with time. They can be written off as necessary for the cause, a side effect of needing to acquire information, to achieve the end goal. And he can control Crowley. Castiel is very sure of that.

He hangs up once Crowley tells him where to meet, still uncertain of what to say, and too eager for the wait to be up to fumble through social cues to find a way to say goodbye. It's surprising to him how difficult it is to wait; he's patient, and he's waited for far longer than fifteen minutes before, but he finds waiting now to be maddening. He could fill the time thinking about the war, or Raphael, or Dean and Sam, but none of that is what he wants to be thinking about right now.

After fifteen minutes exactly, he appears in Crowley's place and glances around, looking for the demon.

"Hello?"
